Additional Information
If you experience trouble with your linear PCM recorder, try the following solutions.
1
Turn off the linear PCM recorder completely by removing the batteries and an AC
adaptor (not supplied), and then turn it on again. Or use the linear PCM recorder to
initialize the built-in memory or the memory card. (Note that initializing will delete
all data in the memory or in the memory card.)

Read through the symptoms and solutions on pages 78 to 81 and messages
on pages 82 to 84 to check your recorder.

Should any problem persist after you have made these checks, consult your nearest
Sony dealer.
