Controlling operations from the
transmitter unit
Press the appropriate buttons on the
transmitter unit to control operations on the
linear PCM recorder. You can start, pause and
stop recording and playback, and set a track
mark.
The LED on the receiver unit lights during
recording, and flashes during pause or in
standby mode.
Changing the channel for the
remote control
When remotely controlling multiple linear
PCM recorders, assign an identical channel
number to each linear PCM recorder and the
transmitter unit to prevent interference.

In the stop mode, press and hold
the HOME/BACK button for 1 second
or more, select
Settings”
“Common Settings” “Remote
Control Setting, and then press the
button.
The Remote Control Setting” menu is
displayed.

Press and to select “CH1, “CH2,
or “CH3” and then press the
button.

In the stop mode, press and hold the
HOME/BACK button for 1 second or
more, select “
Record, and press the
button.

Point the remote control transmitter
unit at the remote sensor of the
receiver unit.

On the transmitter unit of the remote
control, press the button of the
channel number you selected in step
2 (CH1, CH2 or CH3), while pressing the
SET button.

Press operation buttons on the transmitter
unit. If you can operate the linear PCM
recorder, the settings have been configured
successfully. If not, redo the setting
procedures.
Note
The remote control range may become shorter when
the remote control is used outdoors (in direct sunlight)
or under a fluorescent lamp. In such cases, move away
from the fluorescent lamp, or move to a position that
is not in direct sunlight.
