Audio dubbing
You can add music and songs on the normal audio track. The monaural
sound previously recorded is replaced while the original picture and hi-
fi sound on the main track are retained. (See page 29.)

Audio dubbing from a stereo system
Before you start editing
Connect audio source equipment to the LINE IN 2 AUDIO jacks of
this VCR.
Press INPUT SELECT to display “L2” in the display window.
1 Play a recording source. Search for the point to start
playback and set it to playback pause.
2 Open the drop down panel and insert the prerecorded
tape into this VCR.
Search for the end of the section you want to dub new
sound to and press P PAUSE.
Make sure that the tape has its safety tab in place so that you can
dub new sound onto it.
3 Press COUNTER RESET to reset the counter to
“0H00M00S.”
4 Rewind the tape to the beginning of the section.
This VCR pauses.
5 Press AUDIO DUB.
The A-DUB indicator lights up in the display window.
