Note
You cannot use this function in some countries where no
PTY (Programme Type selection) data is available.
Follow the steps below with the card remote
commander while the monitor is open.

Press DSPL during FM reception.
The cursor “Bb“ is used to show the
currently received programme type.
When no RDS station or RDS data is received,
the cursor “Bb“ does not appear.

Press V or v to select the desired
programme type.
The cursor changes its shape to “[ ]” by
pressing V or v to move it to the programme
type that is not currently received.

Press ENTER.
The unit starts searching for a station
broadcasting the selected programme type.
If PTY search failed, a message such as “NO
News” appears.
Setting the clock
automatically — Clock Time
Data
The Clock Time Data from the RDS
transmission sets the clock automatically.

During radio reception, press
MENU, then press V or v
repeatedly until “Clock Time Data”
appears.

Press b to select “on.”
Clock Time Data
on
The clock is set.
3
Press MENU.
The regular display appears again.
To cancel the Clock Time Data function, select
“off” in step 2.
Notes
The Clock Time Data function may not work even
though an RDS station is being received.
There might be a difference between the time set by the
Clock Time Data function and the actual time.
