1.
Read
and
understand
the
instruc-
tions
before
attempting
to
install
these
woofers.
2.
Disconnect
the
negative
terminal
from
the
battery
prior
to
starting
the
installation.
3.
For
easier
installation
run
any
·
extra
speaker
wire
before
starting
the
woofer
installation.
4.
For
the
best
possible
sound,
use
high-quality
connectors
and
wiring.
5.
Exercise
caution
before
doing
any
drilling
or
cutting
in
your
car.
Be
careful
of
fuel.lines,
electrical
wiring,
vacuum
lines,
or
fuel
tanks
in
your
vehicle.
6.
Never
run
speaker
wires
underneath
your
vehicle.
Protect
the
wires
by
keeping
them
inside
the
vehicle.
7.
Avoid
running
speaker
wires
over,
near,
or
through
sharp-edged
surfaces.
Use
rubber
grommets
to
protect
wires
running
through
openings
in
metal.
8.
If
running
speaker
wires
from
an
amplifier,
avoid
placing
them
near
sources
of
high
current
like
wiring
harnesses
or
battery
cables
WOOFER
MOUNTING
1.
Pick
a
location
for
mounting
your
woofers.
Make
sure
the
area
is
large
enough
and
deep
enough
for
the
speaker
to
fit
into.
2.
Refer
to
the
specifications
chart
to
determine
the
proper
diameter
hole
to
cut
for
your
woofer
model.
3.
Mark
the
locations
of
the
mount-
ing
screws
and
drill
the
holes
with
a
3/32"
drill
bit.

Be
sure
to
observe
proper
polarity
when
connecting
the
woofer
wires
to
the
speaker.
The
woofer's
positive
terminal
is
indicated
with
a
"+"
symbol.
5.
Place
the
woofer
into
the
cut-
out
and
mount
it
in
place
with
some
matching
screws.
