Charging an External Device
The USB jack can be used to charge most
devices that allow for USB charging (including
many mobile phones, smart phones and
wireless headsets).
Note: Please use the USB power cord that came
with your device to connect to Sound Kick to
charge.
Even if operating the unit with the built-in
battery instead of the AC adapter, you can still
use the USB jack for charging with External
Mobile (The charging current should be less
than 500 mA).
1. Pull out the extension chamber first.
2. Turn the unit power on.
3. Connect your mobile to the USB jack for
charging.
During battery mode, there is a limitation to the
volume setting in order for the power of the USB
jack to charge external mobile devices:
The indicator will turn green when the volume
setting is below the volume threshold. This
means the USB jack power is enabled.
When volume setting is over the threshold, the
green indicator will be off, and hence the USB
jack power will be off.
When the internal battery level is below 10%,
the indicator will turn red.
Note: We suggest when using the USB power
jack to charge external mobile devices, the units
battery should be fully charged or the unit
should be connected to the provided AC
adapter.
