WaterandMoisture–Theunitshouldnotbeusednearwater.For
example:nearabathtub,washbowl,kitchensink,laundrytub,
swimmingpoolorinawetbasement.
2. Ventilation–Theunitshouldbesituatedsothatitslocationor
positiondoesnotinterferewithitsproperventilation.Forexample,it
shouldnotbesituatedonabed,sofa,rugorsimilarsurfacethatmay
blockventilationopenings.Also,itshouldnotbeplacedinabuilt‐in
installation,suc
hasabookcaseorcabinet,whichmayimpedetheflow
ofairthroughtheventilationopenings.
3. Heat–Theunitshouldbesituatedawayfromheatsourcessuchas
radiators,heatregisters,stovesorotherappliances(including
amplifiers)thatproduceheat.
4. PowerSources–Theunitshouldbeconnectedtoapowersupplyonly
ofthetypedescribedintheoperatinginstructionsorasmarkedonthe
appliance.
5. PowerCableProtection–Powersupplycablesshouldberoutedso
thattheyarenotlikelytobewalkedonorpinchedbyitemsplaced
uponoragainstthem.Itisalwaysbesttohaveaclearareafromwhere
thecableexitstheunittowhereitispluggedintoanACso
cket.
6. Cleaning–Theunitshouldbecleanedonlyasrecommended.Seethe
Maintenancesectionofthismanualforcleaninginstructions.
7. ObjectsandLiquidEntry–Careshouldbetakensothatobjectsdonot
fallandliquidsarenotspilledintoanyopeningsorventslocatedon
theproduct.
8. Attachments–Donotuseattachmentsnotrecommendedbythe
productmanufacturer.
9. LightningandPowerSurgeProtection–Unplugtheunitfromthewall
socketanddisconnecttheantennaorcablesystemduringalightning
stormorwhenitisleftunattendedandunusedforlongperiodsof
