I. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS 1. INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE: 1) Power source: It is applicable to AC source of 220V -240V and 50Hz/60Hz. 2) Temperature: The ideal surrounding temperature is over 5 . Difficult operation may occur under 0 . Keep away from heat source. 3) Protection: Protect the cable plug, cable cord and socket against stepping, extruding and dragging.

6. SETTING THE CLOCK The system has the sleep function and the timer function. The internal clock operates in 12-hour mode and 24-hour. The 12-hour display show the time in AM or PM. The clock may be set when the system is playing or when in standby mode and will lost when the power cut off. To set the clock 1. Press and hold the “CLOCK” button , the function of clock setting, time for opening “TIME ON”, time for closing “TIME OFF ”can show on the corresponded place on the display. A.
7. USING THE AM/FM RADIO Press "INPUT" Button to select AM/FM. AM Frequency 522 to 1620KHz, FM Frequency 87.5 to 108 MHz. The "AUTO" tune function provided will automatically scan for stations and stop a station with a strong signal level. The audio functions allow listening in stereo and mono; there are 2 options ‘auto’ and ‘mono’. If mono is selected any radio station broadcasting in stereo will only be heard in mono sound.

Handling Compact Discs To remove a CD from its storage case, press down on the centre of the case and lift the disc out. Hold the disc by the edges. Avoid touching the recorded side of the disc.
Programmed track selection You can set your CD Player to play a preset selection of tracks. 1. Press the so the CD is not playing then press the PROG button. The LCD display will show 00 P00. The first two digits 00 are where the selected track number is entered, P00 is the program counter which will increment after a track is entered. 2. Press either or buttons until the required track number is shown. The LCD displays the selected track and the program counter which has incremented to P01 001. 3.
To set random play during play mode: In this mode the CD player will play tracks in a random order. 1. Press the RANDOM button until the LCD display shows ‘Random On’. The track playing will continue to play, then tracks are played in random order until you press the button. 2. To cancel the random function and to continue playing the CD press the RANDOM button until the LCD display shows ‘Random Off’. To set random play during stop mode: 1. Press the RANDOM button until the LCD display shows ‘Random On’.
Skip forwards or backwards through tracks(MP3) Please follow as previously described . Programmed track selection (MP3) Please follow as previously described. Repeat disc play (MP3) With the exception of repeat an MP3 folder, please follow as previously described . Repeat an MP3 folder You can set your MP3 player to repeat a folder, this will repeatedly play all the tracks within the folder. To repeat the currently playing folder: 1. Press the REPEAT button until the LCD display show ‘Repeat Folder’.
IV. CARE AND MAINTENANCE Cleaning CDs Use a soft cloth to remove fingerprints and dust from the disc surface. Wipe in a straight line from the centre to the outside of the disc. Never use chemicals such as record sprays, anti-static sprays, benzine or thinners to clean your CDs. To reduce the risk of scratches, always put CDs back in their cases after use. Do not expose CDs to direct sunlight, high humidity or high temperatures for long periods. Do not stick paper or write on either side of the CD. V.
