• Remove inner part of the modular gasket to adjust the internal

diameter to t the cable (see table)

• Slide accessories onto the cable

• Strip external cable jacket

• Strip wires and crimp contacts (see pages 140 & 141)

• Tighten backshell with plug and mate plug with a receptacle

(recommended torque values to be applied according to the

table below)

• Tighten backshell screws.
