Safety Alert Symbols

WARNING

Engine exhaust, some of its constituents, and certain vehicle

components contain or emit chemicals known to State of California to cause cancer and

birth defects or other reproductive harm.

The symbols below identify important safety information in this manual. Become familiar

with these symbols and the warnings associated with these symbols.

DANGER

Indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if not

avoided, will result in death or serious injury.

WARNING

Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided,

could result in death or serious injury.

CAUTION

Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided,

may result in minor or moderate injury.

NOTICE

Indicates a practice not related to personal injury which, if not

avoided, may result in property damage.

Safety Warning Symbols

Become familiar with and understand the meaning of the safety symbols found on this

product. Read, understand and follow all instructions on the machine before attempting

to assemble and operate.

Look for this symbol to point out important safety precautions. It

means: Attention! Become Alert! Your Safety Is Involved.

Read operator’s manual before operating this machine. Failure

to follow directions could result in serious injury.

Wear eye protection complying with ANSI Z87.1 and hearing

protection.

AMPUTATION HAZARD

Contact with the rotating blades will cause serious injury. Keep

hands out of inlet while machine is running.

BYSTANDERS

Keep bystanders, pets and children away from the machine

while it is in operation. Stop machine if anyone enters the area.
