BATTERY BOOSTER CABLES
Southwire has manufactured booster cables for several decades
leading the marketplace with product innovations that include:
No-Tangle
™
cable twin extrusion, TPE insulation, no-shock clamp,
UL listings, and copper-clad aluminum cable.
Some models feature Southwire’s patented Polar-Glo
™
clamp with
triple-polarity identication: color-coding, indent stamping, and
glow-in-the-dark labels. This clamp attaches rmly to both top
post and side terminal batteries. All energized clamp surfaces
are shielded to avoid short circuits and conductive clamp
surfaces are recessed to prevent accidental contact.
• Jacket material exhibits rubber-like exibility, high abrasion resistance, a
-40º to 60º C temperature range, lighter in weight than other PVC, high
resistance to almost all environmental exposures
