WPA and WPA2 are the primary security algorithms
for setting up a wireless network. They are two security
protocols and security certification programs
developed by the Wi-Fi Alliance to secure wireless
computer network. TKIP and AES are encryption
methods for the security protocols to further prevent
attacks and intrusions. By choosing “open,” no
authentication will be required.
