11.5 Guidance and Manufacturer’s Declaration for EMC Directive
This product has been tested for EMI/EMC compliance, but interference can still occur in an
electromagnetically noisy location. Maintain a suitable distance between electrical devices to prevent
malfunction.

Important information regarding Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC)
X-ray flat panel detectors needs special precautions regarding EMC and put into service according to
the EMC information provided in the operation manual; X-ray flat panel detectors conform to this IEC
60601-1-2:2014 standard for both immunity and emissions. Nevertheless, special precautions need to
be observed:
X-ray flat panel detectors following essential performance is intended used in professional
healthcare facility environment.
Essential performance: Image acquisition has no negative effects and Image data transmission has
no negative effects
WARNING: Portable RF communications equipment (including peripherals such as antenna
cables and external antennas) should be used no closer than 30 cm (12 inches) to any part of the
X-ray flat panel detectors, including cables specified by the manufacturer. Otherwise, degradation
of the performance of this equipment could result.”
The use of accessories and cables other than those specified by CareRay, with the exception of
accessories and cables sold by CareRay of X-ray flat panel detectors as replacement parts for
internal components, may result in increased EMISSIONS or decreased IMMUNITY of the X-ray
flat panel detectors.
