Intended use
The headphones amplier is designed to amplify an audio signal and transmit it to a pair of
headphones. The inputs and outputs must only be connected to sockets on audio devices.
Headphones must be connected with a 3.5 mm jack plug. Power is supplied via the built-in
rechargeable battery, which can be charged via a standard USB port. The product cannot be
operated with another power supply.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in
bathrooms, must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you
use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged.
In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, re, electric shock etc.
Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only
together with its operating instructions.

Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information
on proper handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting
personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the
warranty/guarantee.
a) Persons / Product
The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may become dangerous
playing material for children.
Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity,
moisture, ammable gases, vapours and solvents.
If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it
from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can
damage the product.
Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are connected
to the product.
Do not listen to excessively loud music over an extended period of time. This may damage
your hearing.
Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into a warm
one. The condensation generated could destroy the product. Allow the product to reach room
temperature before connecting it to the power supply and putting it to use. This may take
several hours.
Only use the product in temperate climates, not in tropical climates.
Do not leave the product unattended while in operation.
Check the product for damage from time to time.
Turn off all audio signal sources and set their volume to zero. Turn the volume control knob
anticlockwise as far as it will go to turn off the amplier before connecting the headphones.
Before connecting the headphones, turn off all devices that you are going to connect to the
headphones amplier and disconnect them from the power supply. Follow the same steps
when making changes to the connections.
Do not place any open ames (e.g. burning candles) on or near the headphones amplier.
b) Rechargeable battery
The rechargeable battery is permanently built into the product and cannot be replaced.
Never damage the rechargeable battery. Damaging the casing of the rechargeable battery
might cause an explosion or a re! Unlike conventional batteries/rechargeable batteries (e.g.
AA or AAA type), the casing of the LiPo rechargeable battery does not consist of a thin sheet
but rather a sensitive plastic lm only.
Never short-circuit the contacts of the rechargeable battery. Do not throw the battery or the
product into re. There is a danger of re and explosion!
Charge the rechargeable battery regularly, even if you are not using the product. Due to the
rechargeable battery technology being used, you do not need to discharge the rechargeable
battery rst.
Never charge the rechargeable battery of the product unattended.
When charging, place the product on a surface that is not heat-sensitive. It is normal that a
certain amount of heat is generated during charging.
c) Miscellaneous
In industrial facilities, the accident prevention regulations for electrical equipment and
facilities issued by the Industrial Employers' Liability Association must be adhered to!
Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
Maintenance, modications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at
a qualied shop.

Operation
a) Charging the battery
The multifunctional LED (4) ashes when the battery level is low. The battery should then
be charged.
Ensure that you fully charge the battery before using the product for the rst time.
Connect the micro USB port (7) to a suitable USB power source using the micro USB cable
(included with the product). The red LED turns on when the amplier is connected to a USB
port and turned off (at the volume control knob (3)). This indicates that the battery is charging.
The LED alternates between blue and red when the product is turned on and the battery is
charging.
A full charging cycle takes approximately 1 hour. The red LED turns off when the amplier is
turned off; it turns blue when the amplier is turned on.
Disconnect the USB power supply from the amplier when the battery is fully charged.
