Intended use
This product allows you to amplify the signal (line level) to connect headphones.
Only the power unit enclosed may be used to supply power.
The product may only be used in enclosed indoor locations. Outdoor use is not allowed. Contact with mois-
ture, for example in bathrooms or the like, must be avoided.
Any use other than as described above is not permitted and can damage the product. Furthermore, there are
dangers such as short circuit, re, electric shock etc.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times.

improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions! The warranty/guarantee
will be void in such cases!
For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversions and/or modications to the product are not permitted.
Use only the supplied mains adapter as a power source.
Connect the mains adapter only to a normal mains socket connected to the public supply network. Before
plugging in the power adapter, check whether the voltage indicated on the power adapter matches the
voltage of your electricity supplier.
Power adapters must never be plugged in or disconnected when your hands are wet.
For safety reasons, disconnect the power adaptor from the mains socket during thunderstorms.
The device is not a toy. Children are not aware of the potential dangers involved when using electrical
devices.
Do not leave packaging materials unattended. It may become a dangerous plaything for children.
Check the device and the power unit from time to time for damage. Should the amplier have any damage,
disconnect it from the power supply (remove batteries). Do not use the product after that and take it to a
specialist workshop instead.
Never pour liquids over electrical appliances and never leave objects lled with liquids (e.g., vases) in the
vicinity of the device. You run the high risk of causing a re or a fatal electric shock. If liquids enter the
device, immediately disconnect it from the power supply, unplug the power supply unit from the mains and
consult an expert.
• Do not expose the device to high temperatures, dripping or spray water, strong vibrations or heavy me-
chanical stress.
Do not place open ames, such as burning candles, on or near the device.
Never leave the device on unattended. For reasons of safety, unplug from the mains socket after use.
Do not use the device in a tropical climate.
Do not listen too excessively loud music for long periods of time. This may damage your hearing.

Connection and start-up
The mains socket to which the power supply unit is connected must be easily accessible,
so the device can be quickly isolated from the mains voltage in the event of a fault.
Be careful when handling mains cables and mains connectors. Mains voltage may cause
fatal electric shocks.
Switch off the devices to be connected before connecting them to the connection sock-
ets. Do not switch them on again until you have made all the necessary connections and
checked them.
Connect the Line-output of your audio-device to the Line-input (3) of the headphones amplier.
Line-signal will be looped through the Line-output (2) of the headphones amplier and can be connected
with another devices.
Connect the casing to the mains voltage (1) via the mains unit included in the delivery. The LED (4) on the
front side of the device goes up.
Turn all devices on.
Before connecting of the headphones to headphones jacks (5) and (6) turn the VOLUME control (8) off (in
counter-clockwise direction).
Headphones jacks (5) and (6) may be used simultaneously.
Sound can be regulated with the NOTE control (7).
Now set the desired volume, with the VOLUME control (8).
You can use both headphones jacks at the same time. Volume level may be different if different
headphones are used.
Use appropriate adapter by using of headphones with different connector.
To transmit audio signal of a TV-set, it must have a Line-audio-output or a SCART-port. For
SCART-port use an adaptor with an audio-output. When making your purchase, please take
note of the correct allocation (SCART -> Cinch). Better SCART-AV-Adaptor are switchable or
have 6 Cinch-connections (3 for in- and output).
Handling
Do not operate the device immediately when you take it from a cold room into a warm room environment.
The condensation that forms might damage the device.
Leave the device disconnected and wait until it has reached room temperature. Wait until the condensation
has evaporated.
Do not cover the device in any way, this ensures sufcient ventilation. In addition, air circulation must not
be obstructed by objects such as magazines, tablecloths, curtains or similar items.
Care and maintenance
The product does not have to be serviced and, except for occasional cleaning with a soft, dry cloth, requires
no maintenance whatsoever.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage the surfaces.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste materials and must not be disposed of in the household
waste!
Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the current statutory
requirements.
