Backlight [ON/OFF]
Sets Backlight Compensation. If a bright
backlight is present, the subjects in the
picture may appear dark or as a silhouette.
Backlight compensation enhances objects in
the center of the picture. The camera uses the
center of the picture to adjust the iris. If there
is a bright light source outside of this area, it
will wash out to white. The camera will adjust
the iris so that the object in the sensitive area
is properly exposed.
Day/Night
[AUTO/DAY/NIGHT]
Sets Day&Night mode.
WDR [ON/OFF]
The WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) is a function
for dividing an image into several blocks and
correcting blocked-up shadows and blown-out
highlights in accordance with the intensity
difference. It enables you to obtain images in
which portions ranging from dark to light can
be recognized, even when capturing a subject
with a large intensity difference that is backlit
or includes extremely light portions.
