A splitter is ideal in surveillance situations where a single DVR with
HDMI capability may need to be viewed at multiple workstations.
These are also very popular for digital signage displays where the
same message is being shown to multiple stations. A splitter is also
an inexpensive way to take a cable or satellite HDMI signal and
distribute it to multiple televisions.
