Round Diffuser Installation

Steps:

1. WARNING: Securely attach vent duct to joist or stud. Duct movement

can cause grille to dislodge from wall or ceiling.

2. Make sure duct opening is round, not warped as this too may affect

connection of the diffuser.

3. Ensure adequate tension or mounting tabs and adjust manually if

required. These metal tabs act like a spring to hold the diffuser in place.

4. Press the diffuser firmly into place, ensure a secure connection in the

duct opening and a tight seal. If needed apply a bead of caulking to the

outer edge of the diffuser and the wall or ceiling. This will help to prevent

the diffuser from coming loose over time and dislodging from the vent.
