Binding instructions
Always use DSMX
®
remote receivers with DSMX main receivers.
Connecting New Remote Receivers
1. Connect a Remote Receiver Extension to the main receiver and remote receiver.
2. Install the receiver in a location as far as possible from the main receiver antenna.
3. Install the active portion of the antenna (the exposed section at the end of
the antenna wire) so it is oriented 90 degrees to the main receiver antenna.
It should be installed as far as possible from metal, carbon fiber, and wiring.
WARNING: Do not kink, cut or damage the antenna wire. The
antenna is made of a coaxial wire; if the outer sheath becomes
damaged, the receiver will not work properly. If the antenna is damaged in
any way, replace the antenna before attempting to use the receiver.
4. Follow the receiver binding instructions to bind the main receiver and
remote receiver(s).
The transmitter and receiver will need to be re-bound any time a new remote
receiver is added to the system.
Changing Antenna Position
1. Remove the screws holding the case together.
2. Open the case.
3. Rotate the antenna to the desired location.
4. Rotate the plastic insert to the new location and place into the case.
5. Re-assemble the case and install
the case screws
