Soft Tissue Anchor:The Soft Tissue Anchors are intended to anchor the Lead in the soft
tissueorontheskinsurfaceproximaltothedistalcontactsoftheLead.

TunnelingTool:ThetunnelingtoolisusedtoprovideaconduitfortheTrialLead,Implant
Lead, or Lead Extension to the INS or away from the midline of the spine.It is packaged
with2exchangeabletips:abluntpenciltipandasharptrocartip.Astrawis
slidoverthe
tunneling tool and when the steel handle is removed, the straw provides the conduit for
tunneling.
INSSizer:TheINSSizerisapproximatelythe samesizeastheINSandallowsthephysician
toproperlysizetheINSpocket.
PortPlugs:TheportplugsareusedtofillunusedportsintheINS.Theyarepackagedwith
the INS, but spare port plugs are also packaged with the Tunneling Tool Kits for the
convenienceofthephysician

Sterile Magnet Sleeve:The magnet is placed in the sterile sleeve to allow it to be used
duringtheimplantationoftheINS.
MedicalAlertCard:IdentifiesthepatientasauseroftheNeurostimulationSystem.
Programmer Charger:To be used with the Clinical or Patient Programmers to charge the
batteryorallowuseoftheProgrammerswhilepluggedintostandardelectricaloutlets.
ProgrammerCarryingCase:ProtectstheProgrammersfromwater.
AuxiliaryMagnet:AllowstheusertotheturntheNSofforactivatesRFtoallowtheuserto
communicatewiththeNS.
ClinicalProgrammerandPatientProgrammer
TwoprogrammersareavailabletointeractwiththeNSdevice.
1. TheClinicalProgrammerisusedtoprogramthe
stimulation parameters for both the TNS and
the INS.Theinstructions forprogramming the
TNS and INS devices arethe same. The Clinical
Programmerisusedby thephysicianorclinical
staff.
2. The Patient Programmer allows the patient to
adjust the stimulation settings of the TNS and
INSdeviceswithinlimitspresetbytheclinician.
ThePatientProgrammeralsoallowsthepatient
toturnstimulationoff,ifnecessary.
