Fitting and/or exchanging modules should only be done by qualiﬁed persons. In the light of

pos s ible physical damage or injuri es any manipulation is at you r own risk. SPL is not liable

for any physical damage or injury. Before opening the device please read all security advices

(pages 4 and 5) and the “Hook Up” information (pages 7 and 8).

If the device is already in use and you want to expand it with further modules: Turn off the

device before you open it, disconnect any power and signal connections and wait at least five

minutes to make sure no residual current is left.

This instruction explains how to fit a module into the third slot. In this example, modules have

already been fitted into slot #1 and #2.

You will need the following tools: a Phillips screwdriver and a 4 mm Allen key (the Allen key is

part of the scope of delivery of the RackPack frame).

Step 1 (Top View)

Unscrew all 12 Phillips screws which fix the top panel with the Phillips screwdriver and remove

the top panel.
