App Settings Screen
The Settings screen on the Android App displays the following information:
• General
○ Log in automatically – Selecting the checkbox toggles on/off
the ability to log in automatically to the Sat-Fi2 App
○ Disable wallpaper – Selecting the checkbox toggles on/off the
wallpaper display
• System
○ Show Android notifications – Selecting the checkbox toggles
on/off Android notifications (i.e. Email, Social Media)
○ Enable WhatsApp support - Selecting the checkbox toggles
on/off WhatsApp
• Support
○ Globalstar.com Website – Selecting Globalstar.com Website
displays the Globalstar website using an Internet connection
or using the Sat-Fi2 RAS
○ Upload firmware logs – Selecting the checkbox toggles on/off the ability for the Sat-Fi2 App to
automatically report bugs logs and notify the user that the logs are being sent
• About
○ App version – Display the current Sat-Fi2 App version
number on the smartphone
○ Firmware version – Displays the current firmware module
version residing on the Sat-Fi2 RAS device
○ MDN – Displays the Sat-Fi2 RAS' mobile device number
○ Check for New Firmware
○ Allow download over cellular – Downloads the Sat-Fi2 RAS
firmware updates without being on a broadband Wi-Fi
connection
○ Wi-Fi Network – Displays the connection name of the Wi-Fi
network (i.e. satfi2_XXXXXX)
○ Open source licenses – Selecting Open source licenses
displays the Open Source projects used in the development
of the Sat-Fi2 App
