GPS Collar Overview
Functions and Main Components
Standard Functions
1. Collects GPS fixes at pre-programmed intervals: either every 13 or every 23 hours. Fix records
consist of time, date, latitude, longitude and fix quality (DOP) information. Other intervals
possible on demand.
2. Transmits fixes to Globalstar Satellite System.
Data Transmission
Lifecycle Pro+ collars transmit 1-3 GPS fixes in one message. It needs to be decided by the user before
placing an order.
