• While tesng was performed under laboratory condions.
Actual performance may vary.
• This system is not intended to be used as a drinking water
treatment unit.
• Both the system and installaon must comply with appli-
cable state and local regulaons.
This Sprite Shower Filtraon System has been tested according
to NSF/ANSI 177 for reducon of free chlorine. The concentra-
on of free available chlorine in water entering the system
was reduced to a concentraon less than or equal to the per-
missible limit for water leaving the system, as specified in NSF/
ANSI 177. This system has not been evaluated for free chlorine
reducon in the presence of chloramines. Free chlorine reduc-
on performance may be impacted by the presence of chlora-
mines in the water supply.
Notes on NSF Test Protocol:
Minimum chlorine reducon per NSF/ANSI 177
shall be listed as ≥ 50% free available chlorine
(FAC) when used with an influent challenge water
of 2mg/L FAC. Average concentraons shall be the arithmec
mean of all reported influent challenge or product water con-
centraons (the detecon limit value shall be used for any non
-detectable concentraon). The specified average percent re-
ducon shall not be greater than the reducon calculated us-
ing the arithmec means of the influent challenge and the
product water concentraons respecvely.
