IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following: 1. Read all instructions. 2. Do not touch hot surfaces. 3. To protect against electrical shock ,do not immerse cord or plug in water or other liquid. 4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. 5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts. 6.
SAFETY INFORMATION Incorrect operation and improper use can damage the appliance and cause injury to the user. The appliance may be used only for its intended purpose. No responsibility can be taken for any possible damage caused through incorrect use or improper handling. Before connecting the appliance to the power source, check that the current and power match those given on the rating plate. Do not put the appliance or the plug in water or any other liquid.
OPERATIONS BEFORE FIRST USE Remove all accessories and shipping materials. Wash the rack, pan in warm soapy water. Wipe the inside of the oven with a damp cloth or sponge. Blot dry with paper towels to be sure unit is dry before using. (See Cleaning and Care). For the first time only, set the temperature knob to MAX and set timer to 15 minutes. This will burn off any oils remained from production. Note: The oven may smoke during this process and there may be a slight smell.
CLEANING AND CARE Be sure oven is turned OFF and unplug from outlet before cleaning. Allow the unit to cool completely. Clean the outer surfaces using a soft, damp cloth and a gentle cleaner. Never use abrasive cleaners or sharp objects (e.g. steel wool). The appliance is equipped with a removable crumb tray. The rack, baking tray and crumb tray can be washed in warm water and detergent. Replace the cleaned crumb tray before using the appliance again.
Your Guarantee If this product is found to be faulty as a result of faulty materials or workmanship within one year from date of purchase, it will be repaired free of charge. This guarantee is subject to the following terms: Sunpentown must be notified of the fault. Proof of purchase must be presented to Sunpentown’s nominated representative. The warranty will be void if the product if modified, misused or repaired by an unauthorized person.
