IMAGE STABILIZER
Image Stabilization can help reduce jitter in recorded video. However, the results will vary
depending on the amount of camera movement and scene. Under normal conditions, it is
not recommended to enable Image Stabilization.
The Time Stamp will not be shown correctly when recording videos with Image Stabilization
enabled. Always disable the Time Stamp when using Image Stabilization. Likewise, Image
Stabilization will not work for videos recorded in 2.7K or 4K. It should be disabled.
PROTECTING A RECORDING IN PROGRESS
The current clip can be write-protected by quickly pressing the Mode button while the
camera is recording. The camera must have loop recording enabled for this function to
work. This will set the files read-only attribute which will prevent the current recording
from being deleted. The video clip will be moved to the card’s locked folder. (Formatting
the card will delete all files, including ones you’ve protected.)
