CHARGING
Connect the supplied standard USB cable to the camera and to a USB, 5V DC power
source (wall charger, PC or external power bank). When the yellow LED turns on, press
the Power button for about 2 seconds to turn the camera Off so it doesn’t drain power.
While charging, the green LED will be on. It will turn off when the battery is fully charged.
Charging takes about 2 hours for a fully discharged battery with the camera turned off and
connected to an external USB charger. For optimum results, the charging voltage should
be +5V under load. Only use quality chargers capable of supplying 1000mA (1A) and a
stable voltage of at least 5V. A new and fully charged battery will record about 90 minutes
of 1080p 60 fps videos.
MEMORY CARD
Insert into the memory slot a microSDHC or microSDXC card with a class rating of 10 or
above. The card may be formatted as FAT32 or exFAT. Cards with a capacity of up to
400GB have been tested. But keep in mind that large-capacity cards formatted with FAT32
will drastically increase the cameras boot time. For example, it may take up to 15 seconds
or more for the camera to boot with a 400GB card formatted with FAT32. There is virtually
no start-up delay when using a 32GB card. (If you want to format the card in the camera,
see In-Camera Formatting below.)
POWER UP
Press the Power button for 1-2 seconds until the red, yellow and blue LED indicators start
flashing simultaneously with three “di” sounds. When the yellow LED indicator is steady,
the camera is in standby mode. To turn off the camera, press the Power button for 2-3
seconds until the red, yellow and blue LED indicators twinkle simultaneously with five di
sounds. Camera is now off.
