Assembly Instructions
1. If the Rate Gate Actuator is installed, disassemble
the Rate Gate Actuator (A) from the spreader as
shown in Figure 1. If the Rate Gate Actuator is not
installed, proceed to Step 2.

2. Remove the Defl ector (B) from the spreader by
unfastening the nuts, bolts, and washers that fasten
it to the frame. Set the pieces that were removed in
this step aside for reassembly in a later step.

3. Turn the Spyker dial to the 9.9 position and pull the
Gate Actuator Rod outwards as shown. Remove the
Gate Actuator Rod from the Rate Gate and store
with the Rate Gate Actuator.

4. Install the short Cable Rod (5) in the location shown.
Replace the Defl ector that was removed in Step 2.
