Spreader does not sit ﬂat The "feet" or the ﬂattened

portion of the spreader hopper

support tubes are not bent

equally.

Using a hammer or pliers,

bend the feet to be equal with

each other.

Deﬂector shut off is binding

and will not open/close

properly

Shut off plate is jammed with

debris.

Thoroughly wash out hopper

and shut off plates with water.

Ensure debris is not stuck

between shut off plate and

rate gate plate.
