Class 9037 Type E Closed Tank Float Switches
Class 9037 closed tank float switches are used primarily on condensate pumps but may also be
installed on closed industrial and diesel fuel day tanks. There are two types of Class 9037 float
switches:
Type E (flange mounted)
Type H (with screw-in bushing)
Class 9037 Type E Flange-Mounted Float Switches
Table 15 contains ordering information for Class 9037 Type E float switches. Order the rod and float
accessory kits separately. Contact the Sensor Competency Center when using Class 9037 float
switches in liquids with a different specific gravity than water (1.0).
For rod kit catalog numbers, refer to pages 55 and 56.
To receive all components packaged in a single carton, specify:
Float switch Class, Type, and Form
“R” and the rod number
“F” and the float number
For example, to receive one each of 9037EG8, 9049ER1, and 9049EF1, specify 9037EG8R1F1.
