Enclosure Semi-flush Mounting Montaje del gabinete semiempotrado
The semi-flush mounting kit is designed to be installed to
the wall stud. Once the mounting kit has been positioned
and secured in place, attach the enclosure to it to
complete the unit mounting.
Note: Before securing the semi-flush mounting kit, check
that the equipment will properly align with the
3 in. (76.2 mm) utility conduit to avoid producing
imperfections on the outer face of the finished wall.
1. Remove flanges from packaging and identify them (D)
left, (C) top and (E) right flanges (see Figure 22 on
page 24).
2. Start by making a reference mark of the centerline
location for the meter in the face of the left stud,
between 48” and 60” from final grade line (refer to local
jurisdiction guidelines). Using this mark as reference,
take the left mounting flange (D) and use the elliptical
hole (J) to find the reference mark on the stud. Align
the left flange to the edge of the stud. Secure the
flange to the stud (F). Do not completely tighten the
screws in order to allow adjustment with the slots in the
flanges.
3. Using the top flange (C) as reference to mount the
right flange (E). Use the keyed end of the flanges as
alignment to secure flange on the top of the left flange
(D) with one screw (F), using a spirit level or similar
tool ensure it is level and add the second screw (F) to
hold the opposite corner of the top flange and now
using the keyed feature at the end of the flanges
mount the right flange (F).
4. Take the Energy Center and place on the flanges using
the screws located on the side of the Energy Center.
Ensure that the (six) screws are engaged to the
flanges.
5. Use three #1/4-20 screws (G), included in the
hardware bag (See Figure 18 on page 21), to secure
the top flange (C) to the semi-flush top end wall (B)
(not shown) and tighten to 75 lbs-in. (8.47 N•m) as
shown in Figure 22 on page 24.
6. Use three 10-32 screws (H) included in the hardware
bag (See Figure 18 on page 21), and place the rain
hood (I) to the top flange (C) and tighten to 10 lbs-in.
7. Apply a bead of caulk on all flanges to close any gap
between the flange and the enclosure.
8. Be certain to apply the building / flashing paper over
the side flanges and over the rain hood (See Figure 23
on page 25.
El kit de montaje semiempotrado está diseñado para instalarse en el
montante de la pared. Una vez que el kit de montaje está colocado y
asegurado en su lugar, acople el gabinete a él para completar el montaje
de la unidad.
Nota: Antes de asegurar el kit de montaje semiempotrado, verifique que
el equipo esté correctamente alineado con el tubo conduit de 76,2 mm
(3 pulg) para el servicio, de manera que no haya imperfecciones en la
cara externa de la pared acabada.
1. Retire las bridas del embalaje e identifíquelas como brida (D)
izquierda, (C) superior y (E) derecha (vea la figura 22 en la
página 24).
2. Comience haciendo una marca de referencia de la ubicación de la
línea central para el medidor en la cara del montante izquierdo, entre
1,22 m y 1,52 m (48” y 60”) desde la línea de rasante final (consulte
las pautas locales de la jurisdicción). Usando esta marca como
referencia, tome la brida de montaje izquierda (D) y use el orificio
elíptico (J) para encontrar la marca de referencia en el montante.
Alinee la brida izquierda con el borde del montante. Asegure la brida
al montante (F). No apriete completamente los tornillos para permitir
el ajuste con las ranuras de las bridas.
3. Usando la brida superior (C) como referencia para montar la brida
derecha (E), use el extremo enchavetado de las bridas como
alineación para asegurar la brida en la parte superior de la brida
izquierda (D) con un tornillo (F); usando un nivel de burbuja o una
herramienta similar asegúrese de que esté nivelada y agregue el
segundo tornillo (F) para sujetar la esquina opuesta de la brida
superior y ahora usando el enchavetado al final de las bridas, monte
la brida derecha (F).
4. Tome el Centro de Energía y colóquelo en las bridas usando los
tornillos ubicados en el lateral del Centro de Energía. Asegúrese de
que los (seis) tornillos estén colocados en las bridas.
5. Utilice tres tornillos n.° 1/4-20 (G), incluidos en la bolsa de
accesorios (vea la figura 18 en la página 21), para asegurar la brida
superior (C) a la pared semiempotrada del extremo superior (B) (no
se muestra) y apriete a 75 lbs-pulg (8.47 N•m) tal como se muestra
en la figura 22 en la página 24.
6. Utilice tres tornillos de 10-32 (G), incluidos en la bolsa de accesorios
(vea la figura 18 en la página 21), y coloque la cubierta de lluvia (I)
en la brida superior (B) (no se muestra) y apriete a 10 lbs-pulg.
7. Aplique una gota de sellador en todas las bridas para sellar cualquier
espacio entre la brida y el gabinete.
8. Asegúrese de aplicar el papel de construcción / cinta tapajuntas
sobre las bridas laterales y sobre la cubierta de lluvia (vea la
figura 23 en la página 25).
