Basis functions
Switching on/off the radio set
Turn the on/off switch clockwise: A power-on beep and the announcement Power ON sound
(when the speech announcement is activated). Afterwards the green status LED flashes 4 x and
the channel number is announced (e.g. one for channel 1).
For switching off the radio set, turn the on/off switch counter clockwise.
Adjusting the volume
Use the on/off switch to adjust the desired volume.
Selecting the channel
Use the channel switch to select the desired channel respectively channel with stored CTCSS/DCSS
code (see table).
When the speech announcement is activated, the selected channel is announced (e.g. two for
channel 2).

Transmission
For transmitting, hold the PTT button pressed and speak with normal voice level and a distance
of approx. 5 cm into the microphone. The red status LED is illuminated while transmitting. If your
message is finished, release the PTT key again.
Reception
When the radio set is switched on, it is ready-to-receive (unless the set is transmitting).
If a signal is received on the adjusted channel, the green status LED lights up.
