2. Save Song File

Select the « Save Song » menu & press the « NEXT » button. The « Save Song 1 » & « Save Song 2 »

menus will be displayed on the lattice area in 2 lines. Select the menu with the DIAL or the (+) & (-)

buttons.

Thenpressthe«NEXT»button.«A____.REC»isdisplayedonthelatticearea.TheletterAashes,

indicating the input state (for input method see « 3. File Name Input » below).

Press the « NEXT » button again to end the data input. The recording data will be saved in the root of the

SMC. « Operation Completed » will be displayed temporarily on the LCD, while the piano exits the SMC

function and returns to its previous state.

3. File Name Input

Thelenameincludes1-8characterstobeputintothekeyboard.

Keyboard & Character Relative Table

SHIFT: 26 capital letters will be displayed by pressing keyboard directly in letter area as shown above. To

display lower case letter, hold down the « SHIFT » button.

DELETE:Whentheashingcursorisatthelast,ie8thcharacter,press«DELETE»toerasethecurrent

character. Otherwise it will erase character on the left.

BACK: To move the current cursor to the left.

NEXT: To move the current cursor to the right.

•Duringlenameinput,«A_____.MEM»or«A_____.REC»isdisplayedonthelatticearea,whilethe

letter«A»ashes.

•Ifnodataisputin,theletter«A»willbesavedasthedefaultlenamebypressingthe«NEXT»

button.Ifyouinputtherstcharacterviathekeyboard,itwillbedisplayedontheLCD.Thecursorwill

movetotheright&ash,indicatingthecharacterrequiredforinputtobecontinued.

• Character input can be edited via the « SHIFT », « DELETE », « BACK » & « NEXT » buttons while

inputting the character.

•Pressthe«NEXT»buttontoendthelenameinput.«OperationCompleted»willbetemporarily

displayed on the LCD, while the piano exits the SMC function to return to its previous status.
