TheQUIETmodepreventsanyincomingtransmissionsfrombeinghearduntilyourSelcall
Identisreceived.Thisallowsyoutomonitorabusychannelforcallswithoutbeingdisturbed
byunwantedsignals.WhenyourSelcallIdentisreceived,theQUIETmodeiscancelledand
allincomingsignalswillbeheardinthespeaker.
IfyourradioisprogrammedwithaQuietkey,youmaybeabletomanuallyactivateyour
radiosQuietmutingsystem.Ifnot,yourradio'squietmutingsystemwillhavebeenpreset
foryoubyyourretailer.
