Thisradioisdesignedandtestedtocomplywithanumberofnationalandinternational
standardsandguidelines(listedbelow)regardinghumanexposuretoRFelectromagnetic
energy.ThisradiocomplieswiththeIEEEandICNIRPexposurelimitsfor
occupational/controlledRFexposureenvironmentatdutycyclesofupto50%talk‐50%
listenandshouldbeusedforoccupationaluseonly.IntermsofmeasuringRFenergyfor
compliancewiththeFCCexposureguidelines,yourradioradiatesmeasureableRFenergy
onlywhenitistransmitting(duringtalking),notwhenitisreceiving(listening)orinstandby
mode.

FCCCOMPLIANCE
ThisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywiththelimitsforaClassBdigital
device,pursuanttopart15oftheFCCRules.Theselimitsaredesignedtoprovide
reasonableprotectionagainstharmfulinterferenceinaresidentialinstallation.This
equipmentgeneratesusesandcanradiateradiofrequencyenergyand,ifnotinstalledand
usedinaccordancewiththeinstructions,maycauseharmfulinterferencetoradio
communications.However,thereisnoguaranteethatinterferencewillnotoccurina
particularinstallation.Ifthisequipmentdoescauseharmfulinterferencetoradioor
televisionreception,whichcanbedeterminedbyturningtheequipmentoffandon,the
userisencouragedtotrytocorrecttheinterferencebyoneormoreofthefollowing
measures:
• Reorientorrelocatethereceivingantenna.
• Increasetheseparationbetweentheequipmentandreceiver.
• Connecttheequipmentintoanoutletonacircuitdifferentfromthattowhichthe
receiverisconnected.
