Self test; however, the EPIRB has
detected that an excessive number
of self tests have been preformed.
You should limit further self tests
to the recommended intervals in
order to conserve battery power.
4 GREEN or RED ashes

(the number of ashes and
beeps are model specic).
Test results – each ash indicates
the result of a specic test.
• A GREEN ash and a HIGH beep
indicates a test has passed.
• A RED ash and a LOW beep
indicates a test has failed.
Long GREEN ash or long
RED ash (no beeps).
Test Summary
• Long GREEN ash indicates the
EPIRB has passed all tests and
is OK to use.
• Long RED ash indicates the
EPIRB has failed one or more
tests and may require servicing.
