18 RESET PROCEDURES
18.1 MEMORY CLEAR
To clear the Scan memory and Preset memory:
1. Turn the radio off.
2. Press and hold in the three

keys while turning the radio
on.
18.2 MICROPROCESSOR RESETTING
To clear all memories and other settings to factory defaults (except the Chan-
nel Group, MMSI number, and DSC directory information):
1. Turn the radio off.
2. Press and hold in the

and keys while turning the radio on.
While resetting the radio, the display will show the
display to the right for about 10 seconds, then turn
on.
