STANLEY Electric Pressure Washers
Rev: Dec2010
PREPARATION & ASSEMBLY
Step 10
 Add 0.75 gal (or until you reach the bottom of the neck) of unleaded
gasoline. DO NOT OVERFILL.
Pressure Washer Clearance
Exhaust heat/gases can ignite combustibles, structures or
damage fuel tank causing a fire.
 Keep at least 5 ft. (152 cm) clearance on all sides of pressure
washer including overhead.
Place pressure washer in a well ventilated area, which will allow for
removal of deadly exhaust gas. DO NOT place pressure washer where
exhaust gas could accumulate and enter inside or be drawn into a
potentially occupied building. Ensure exhaust gas is kept away from
any windows, doors, ventilation intakes or other openings that can
allow exhaust gas to collect in a confined area. Prevailing winds and
air currents should be taken into consideration when positioning pres-
sure washer.
DANGER
Recommendation on oil change.
 The pump is integrated with the engine so it uses the same oil
(SAE10W-30). It is recommended that you change the oil every
20—30 hours of use or every 3 months. Failure to properly
maintain the pressure washer will cause pre-mature damage to the
pressure washer.
IMPORTANT: To avoid pump damage, you must assemble the nozzle extension
to the spray gun and attach all hoses before you start the engine.
Step 8
 Attach the Quick Connect Inlet coupling to the water supply inlet on
pressure washer, as shown in the Figure below.
Step 11
 Attach garden hose to water supply.
Note: DO NOT turn on the water yet.
Important:
 Never turn the engine on without having the water turned on.
 Running the pump with no water can cause pre-mature pump
damage.
Step 9
 Add 0.75 quarts of SAW10-30 oil into the engine. Ensure dip stick
is dry before checking to avoid false readings. Wipe the dip stick
with a clean cloth put it into the engine and remove it. Then verify
the oil is filled up to the top mark on the dip stick. IMPORTANT:
VERIFY THE OIL IS FILLED UP TO THE TOP MARK ON THE
DIPSTICK.
