COMMUNICATIONS

Afteryouindicatetheactiveportyouhavealreadychosen,Windows

willpnxent a seriesof settingsoptions.Typein the desiredbaudrate

and “pushthebutton”for yourselectionof word (bit)length,parity,

stopbits,handshake,andport.

SelectHARDWAREhandshakeand 1 stopbit.

Be sure that the other selectionsmatch the printer settingsshown under

InterfaceGroupon the StarLaserPrinter4’s sampleprint.
