3) Releasingthe buttonwill producea cleaningpaper.Whenthecleaning

paperid produced,the screendisplays“MPLOADTHEPAP”.

4) Nowplacethecleaningpap faceup inthemulti-purposetray,inserting

it as far as it willgo withoutforcingit. Makesurethatthepaperguides

are alignedwith thepaper.

5) Pressthe [TEST] button.The printerwill feedthepaperandthe screen

displays“NOWCLEANING”.

6) Whencleaningis done,thescreenwill display“CLEANINGDONE”for

one second.

8.4 CLEANINGTHE EXTERIOROFTHE PRINTER

Beforecleaning,makesurethatthepowercord is removed.

Useonly waterandneutraldetergentto removemarksand spotsfromthe

printer,then wipe the printerdry with a soft dry cloth. Use of any other

cleaningsolutionmaydarnagethe printer.

The printer does not requirelubrication.Never attemptto lubricateany

internalorextemalpartsoftheprinter.Otherwise,lubricationmayaffectthe

operationof theprinteranddamagetheprinter.
