7. Nowclosethetractorcovers,againmakingsurethatthepaperholesare
alignedwiththepinsonthetractorunits.Iftheyarenotalignedproperly,
youwillhaveproblemswithpaperfeeding,possiblyresultingintearing
andjammingof the paper.
8. Remounttherollerunit andreplacetherearcoverandthetop cover.
Paper parking
Afterloadingfanfoldpaperfromtherearoftheprinter,youdonothaveto
unloadit whenyou wantto printon a singlesheet.The printerwill“park”
it for you if you followtheprocedurebelow.
1. To beginpaperparking,start with powerON, fanfoldpaperloadedin
printingposition,andthe releaseleverforward.
2. Pressthe(
ON
LINE )buttonon thecontrolpanelto settheprinteroff-
line.ON
LINEindicatorwillturnoff.
3. Tear off the printedform at thelast perforation,leavingnot morethan
abouthalf a page showingabovethe top cover.If necessary,pressthe
(PAPER FEED> buttontofeedpaperforwarduntilaperforationislocated
just abovethetopcover,andtearthere.
