Placeastackoffanfoldpaperbehindandatleastonepage-lengthbelow
theprinter.
Turn-theprinter’spowerOFF.
Pushthereleaseleverbackward.Thishastheeffectofreleasingthepaper
fromtheplatenroller,andengagingthetractorfeed.
Removethepaperguideandput it asideforthemoment.
Openthetmnsparentpartofthefrontcover,andtherearcoverusingthe
two gripson eitherside,as in Figure
4-3.

the clamp lever at the back of each unit to release and lock them in
position.Whentheclampleveris up,theunitisreleased,andwhenit is
down,theunitis locked.
