SAFETY INFORMATION SAFETY INFORMATION DANGER electrical shock hazard. This pump is non-submersible. Keep the motor dry at all times. Do not wash the motor. Do not immerse. Protect the motor from wet weather. Do not allow any part of cord or receptacle ends to sit in water or in damp locations. Failure to follow these warnings will result in death or serious injury and/or property damage. FIRE/EXPLOSION hazard. Pump only clear water.

PREPARATION PRIMING AND STARTUP Before beginning installation of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble the product. 4a. For models HPP360 and 473707, plug the cord into a 3-wire, 115 volt, 60Hz grounded A/C outlet protected by a ground-fault circuit-interruptor. Pump will deliver 350 gallons per hour with an unrestricted discharge line.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS CARE AND MAINTENANCE 7. If pump does not start to pump water within 30 seconds, unplug and re-check the installation and plumbing as follows. -C heck to be sure pump is located so that the water source is within reach of supplied 6 ft. inlet hose. -C heck to be sure all inlet connections are air and watertight and inlet hose is as short as possible. -C heck to be sure inlet hose is below the surface of the water source.
