Änderung der Schaltereinstellung
❏ Drücken Sie nach der Wahl einer Gruppe und eines Schalters die Taste PAPER
FEED, um den gewählten Schalter auf ON oder OFF zu stellen. Die ON LINE-
Anzeige informiert über die jeweilige Einstellung des Schalters: Die Anzeige
leuchtet, wenn der Schalter auf ON gestellt ist und erlischt beim Umstellen des
Schalters auf OFF.
Ausdrucken der gegenwärtigen Schaltereinstellungen
❏ Um die aktuellen EDS-Schaltereinstellungen auszudrucken, während der EDS-
Modus eingestellt ist, am Bedienfeld die Taste ON LINE gedrückt halten und
dann die Taste PAPER FEED drücken. Sternchen unter den gedruckten Daten
zeigen, ob ein Schalter auf ON oder auf OFF gestellt ist.
Verlassen des EDS-Modus
❏ Drücken Sie die Taste ON LINE am Bedienfeld, um den EDS-Modus zu
verlassen und die EDS-Einstellungen zu speichern.
EDS-Modus-Einstellungen
❏ Nachfolgend sind alle im EDS-Modus möglichen Einstellungen beschrieben.
Eine detaillierte Übersicht sämtlicher Einstellungen kann durch einen kurzen
Test des Druckers (Seite 122) ausgedruckt werden.
GRUPPE A
Schalter 1: Emulation
Wählt Standardemulation (ON) oder IBM-Emulation (OFF). Im
Standardemulationsmodus funktioniert der Drucker wie ein Epson FX-850, während
der Drucker im IBM-Emulationsmodus wie ein IBM Proprinter III funktioniert.
Schalter 2: eichensatztabelle
Die Funktion dieses Schalters richtet sich danach, ob der Drucker auf IBM- oder auf
Standardemulationsmodus gestellt ist.

Cambiamento della regolazione di un interruttore
❏ Dopo aver selezionato il gruppo e l'interruttore, premere il tasto PAPER FEED
del pannello comandi per regolare l'interruttore ON o OFF. L'attuale regolazione
dell'interruttore è mostrata dall'indicatore ON LINE: l'indicatore è illuminato
quando l'interruttore è ON ed è spento quando l'interruttore è OFF.
Stampa delle regolazioni attuali degli interruttori
❏ Per stampare le attuali regolazioni degli interruttori EDS mentre si è nel modo
EDS, premere il tasto ON LINE e quindi il tasto PAPER FEED del pannello
comandi. Gli asterischi sullo stampato indicano la regolazione ON o OFF degli
interruttori.
Disattivazione del modo EDS
❏ Per memorizzare le regolazioni EDS eseguite e disattivare il modo EDS,
premere il tasto ON LINE.

❏ Di seguito spieghiamo in dettaglio tutte le regolazioni eseguibili nel modo EDS.
È possibile stampare una descrizione dettagliata di tutte le regolazioni
eseguendo il collaudo breve della stampante (pagina 122).
GRUPPO A
Interruttore 1: Emulazione
Seleziona l’emulazione Standard (ON) o l’emulazione IBM (OFF). L’emulazione
Standard fa agire la stampante come una Epson FX-850, mentre l’emulazione IBM
la fa agire come una IBM Proprinter III.
Interruttore 2: Tabella caratteri
La funzione di questo interruttore dipende dall’emulazione selezionata, Standard o
IBM.
