Be sure to turn off the cameras that are not connected to the Self-Guard in the
menu.
Read below instructions for the “BUTTON CAM” function if you have purchased a SG-
911-“Button Camera with Microphone”
<How to connect Button Camera to the Self-Guard>
1. Insert the Button Camera into the Self-Guard’s connector which is located on bottom
of the Self-Guard unit.
2. Turn on the “BUTTON CAM” function.

1. Turn off the “BUTTON CAM” function.
2. Remove Button Camera form the Self-Guard unit.

To use the button camera, be sure to connect the button camera to the Self-Guard unit
first, and then turn on the function for, “BUTTON CAM”. If “BUTTON CAM” function is
turned ON from the unit, you can go into the Record or Sleep modes using the remote
On/Off switch of the button camera. If you turn on the switch, then Self-Guard goes into
Recording mode, and Self-Guard stops to record and goes into Sleep mode if you turn
off the switch.
When you connect the button camera to the Self-Guard unit first and then turn On
“BUTTON CAM” function, then Self-Guard may go into either a Recording mode if the
remote On/Off switch is turned On, or a Sleep mode if the switch is turned Off, right
after you turn on “BUTTON CAM” function depending on the switch’s physical location.
Note that you are turning off the built-in microphone and all the cameras set “ON”, but
instead you are turning on the button camera and the microphone in it when you turn
On “BUTTON CAM” function. When you are not using the button camera, press ESC
button to go into the main menu. From this main menu, proceed into Camera Set and
turn Off “BUTTON CAM” function before you remove the button camera from the Self-
