Component Function
1 RJ45 Port
• Used to connect the Docking Station to a
Network Device.
2 DisplayPort Port
• Used to connect a Display Device to the
Docking Station.
Note: The connected Host Laptop must be
enabled with DP ALT Mode.
3 HDMI Port
• Used to connect a Display Device to the
Docking Station.
Note: The connected Host Laptop must be
enabled with DP ALT Mode.
4 VGA Port
• Used to connect a Display Device to the
Docking Station.
Note: The connected Host Laptop must be
enabled with DP ALT Mode.
5 USB-A Port x 2
• Used to connect a USB Peripheral Device to
the Docking Station.
• Allows you to fast-charge devices that comply
with USB Battery Charging specication
Revision 1.2.
• Supports up to 5V at 1.5A, 7.5W charging.

6 USB-C Port
• Used to connect a USB Peripheral Device to
the Docking Station.

7 USB-C Connector
• Used to connect the Docking Station to a
Host Laptop.

Host
• A Laptop with USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port and with DP ALT Mode enabled x 1
Display
• VGA, HDMI, or DisplayPort compatible x 1
Cables (depends on conguration)
• VGA Cable x 1
• HDMI Cable x 1
• DisplayPort Cable x 1
• CAT5e/6 Cable x 1
Powering the Docking Station
1. Unravel the Wrap Around Cable from the Docking Station Housing, by holding
onto the USB-C Connector and gently pulling the cable outward, away from the
Docking Station Housing.
2. Connect the USB-C Connector to a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port on the Host
Laptop.
Connecting a Display to the Docking Station
When more than one Display is connected to the Docking Station, the rst Display
that was connected will be the active Display until the Display is disconnected from
the Docking Station. The priority when you have three monitors connected to the
Docking Station is as follows: DisplayPort -> HDMI -> VGA.
DisplayPort
• Connect a DisplayPort Cable (sold separately) to the DisplayPort Port on the
Docking Station and the other end to a DisplayPort port on a Display Device.
