Installation Prepare FPWARTB2 for mounting 1. Remove the decorative covers from the wall mount. 2. Use the wrench provided to remove the two bolts from the back of the mount attachment and slide the TV mount up and away from the wall mount.
Attach the wall mount to the wall Warning! The wall mount is designed to be installed on a wood stud, solid concrete, or cinder block wall. The wall structure should be capable of supporting at least four times the weight of the mounted equipment. The mounting hardware included with this product may not be adequate for installation on certain wall structures.
Reattach the decorative covers • When the wall mount is attached to the wall, snap the decorative covers back onto the wall mount.
Assemble the TV mount 1. Slide the two horizontal brackets through the top and bottom channels of the TV mount. 2. Insert a mounting screw in the top and bottom holes in the TV mount, and use a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the screws.
3. Select the placement of the vertical brackets that works best with the VESA mounting hole pattern on your TV.
4. Insert the bracket screws through the vertical brackets and the horizontal brackets. 5. Use the provided wrench to tighten the nuts onto the bracket screws.
Mount a TV with a flush mounting surface To accommodate different TV designs, the FPWARTB2 comes with five sets of screws of different lengths and diameters, two sizes of washers, and two sizes of spacers. 1. To select the combination of mounting hardware that you need to use to attach the vertical brackets to the TV, complete the following: • Determine the depth of the mounting holes on the TV. • Determine the diameter of the mounting holes on the TV.
Mount a TV with a recessed mounting surface To accommodate different TV designs, the FPWARTB2 comes with five sets of screws of different lengths and diameters, two sizes of washers, and two sizes of spacers. 1. To select the combination of mounting hardware that you need to use to attach the vertical brackets to the TV, complete the following: • Determine the depth of the mounting holes on the TV. • Determine the diameter of the mounting holes on the TV.
2. Line up the vertical brackets with the mounting holes on the back of the TV. 3. Place the large washers over the vertical brackets. 4. Insert the M6x30 mm screws, M8x30 mm screws, or M8x50 screws through the washers, vertical brackets, spacers, and into the back of the TV. 5. Use a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the screws. (figure 8) Warning! Do not over-tighten the screws. If you encounter resistance while you’re tightening the screws, stop tightening.
Attach the TV to the wall mount Warning! Make sure that the weight of the TV doesn’t exceed the weight capacity of this product. If you exceed the weight capacity, you might experience personal injury or damage to the product. This product can support the following weight: Up to 45 kg (99 lb.) Warning! Attaching the TV is a two-person job. Do not attempt to complete this task by yourself. 1. Carefully slide the TV mount onto the mount attachment at the end of the wall mount. 2.
Route the cables 1. Remove the decorative covers from the arms of the wall mount. 2. Position the cables in the decorative covers and reattach them to the arms of the wall mount.
Adjust the tilt and swivel angle of the TV 1. Use the provided wrench to loosen the bolts in the side of the TV mount. 2. Position the TV at the angle that you want. 3. Use the provided wrench to tighten the bolts in the side of the TV mount.
