7.1 OSD CONTROL FOR WIREPATH™ SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS
Wirepath™ Surveillance 500 and 700 series analog cameras offer remote control of thier OSD (On Screen
Display) menu. This is achieved through the PTZ functions of the DVR. The cameras must be connected to
theRS485terminalsontheDVRandproperlyconguredaccordingtothecameramanual.TheDVRmust
alsobeproperlycongured.PleaserefertoSection 3.2 Optional Connections for the connections, Section
6.1 Pre-Camera Setup to set the PTZ ID of each PTZ camera, and Section 6.9 RS-232/422/485 Setup to setup
the RS485 control port.
