Balancing

Now, slide the Gimbal ½” towards the Stage.

This will move the Sled’s CG below the pan

bearing, giving us the slightly bottom heavy

Sled we want.

Tighten the Gimbal Lock Knob.

We’ll fine tune the top-to-bottom balance after

trimming the other two axes.

If you’re balancing a heavier camera with a lightweight battery on the Base, you may not be able to

find the balance point.

If this is the case, add two or more additional Balance Weights to each end of the Cross Rod or

extend the Post by a few inches. Then repeat the neutral balance procedure and slide the Gimbal

½” towards to camera.
