Low Mode
Extend the Post, add weights to the Cross Rod
and adjust the monitor so it’s visible when
inverted.
Re-balance by finding neutral and moving the
Gimbal ½” AWAY from the Stage. This inverts
the Sled.
Add the optional F-bracket to the Gimbal
Handle. Always use the Stainless Steel pin that
is included with the F-bracket.
Note: the camera is usually inverted to save
time and complexity on set. This requires
inverting the image in the edit as well as on
monitors at location.
Operate with your hand BELOW the Gimbal on
the Post.
It’s often more difficult than normal mode
because of the awkward hand position. Plus
tilting the Post takes extra practice and having
the monitor so far above the lens takes
getting used to.
